Building a Better Community
Champions Medal Foundation provides community members volunteer opportunities, non-profit leadsership training, and resources for bettering their communities.
Love cannot remain by itself – it has no meaning. Love has to be put into action and that action is service.
In 2004, Francina J. Price gathered with a group of friends. They shared personal stories concerning loved ones who lives were affected by disease. In the course of their conversation, they voiced how the love and acts of kindness they received from others had improved the quality of their lives and the lives of their loved ones. They made a life commitment at that moment to reach out to others in their community to provide support in any way possible.
I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.
Though all of us are born equal, we do not all have equal access to the resources that we need to thrive and become the Champion that God intended. Our goal at CMF is to provide opportunities for community outreach so that we can all discover the CHAMPION WITHIN.
Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be eager to serve.
