Love cannot remain by itself – it has no meaning. Love has to be put into action and that action is service.
Mother Teresa
In 2004, Francina J. Price gathered with a group of friends. They shared personal stories concerning loved ones who lives were affected by disease. In the course of their conversation, they voiced how the love and acts of kindness they received from others had improved the quality of their lives and the lives of their loved ones. They made a life commitment at that moment to reach out to others in their community to provide support in any way possible.
I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.
